'Dilwale' Movie Review By Pankhurie Mulasi | Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon

today we are going to review the film we have all been waiting for since quite a long time. Yes I’m talking about Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale.

The film revolves around Raj who lives with his younger brother Veer. Raj aur unki family ka ek dark past hai lekin wo uske baarey mein apney chotey bhai ko kuch nahi batatey. Veer falls in love with Ishita and the young couple tells their family about it. But little do they know that in doing so they have opened Pandora’s Box.

Jab Raj Ishita ki behan se milne jaatey hai unhey realise hota hai ki wo unka khoya hua pyar Meera hai jo unhe ek misunderstanding ki wajah se chodh deti hai. Unke past ka asar Veer aur Ishita ki lovestory mein padhta hai as their respective elder siblings tell them to forget each other. When Veer and Ishita come to know that their siblings were once in love wo bichdhey huey premiyo ko milane pe laga jaatey hai ofcourse apni khud ki setting karane ke liye.

This film brings back the epic Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol jodi and it won’t be wrong to say that it is the film’s only highlight. SRK who plays Raj looks the quintessential lover boy that he is when the film goes in flashback however, apne Don role mein wo kaafi intense lag rahey hai.
Kajol delivers a power-packed performance and is looking fresh as a Daisy. Kajol and SRK create magic on-screen and it’s pure bliss to watch them.

Varun Dhawan who play’s SRK’s younger brother seem sto have walked from the sets of Main Tera Hero as right from his acting to his dialogue delivery it’s all same old same old. Varun darling stop doing this ‘main dikhta hu swami type ka but hu badha harami type ka’ roles.
Kriti Sanon looks pretty but has nothing much to do. Varun Sharma does the same kind of acting in all his films to unke baarey mein zada kuch bolne ke liye hai nahi. Boman Irani has been under utililised however, Sanjay Mishra and Johnny Lever will surely tickle your funny bone.
The film’s plot is very run of the mill and I think SRKand Kajol shud hv chosen a better film for their comeback as a pair. Is film se kaafi expectations thi but Rohit Shetty hascome up with a very clichéd film jisme unhe fir se ek baar car udhane ka mauka mil gaya.

May be we are disappointed kyunki is film se kuch zada his expectations thi. Film ke gaane bahut achey hai lekin wo last gaana tukur tukur kyu hai film mein ye rohit hi jantey hai.
Overall Diwale is certainly a one time watch so I will give it a rating of three stars. So if you are a die-hard fan of SRK or his pairing with Kajol do watch this film this weeken aur haan dimag ghar pe hi chodh ke jaana
